The Project

The Milford Explorer was a big job with such a rewarding finish. The deep blue paint contrasted to the bright white makes you stop and stare. This project was particularly challenging as it was carried out alongside extensive engineering work and a full refit of the vessel, to add to the challenges we had a strict deadline which had to meet. We overcome these challenges by putting together a solid plan of how we were going undertake the job and ensured our entire team understood what needed to do and when it had to be done, this along with carrying out the spray painting in the evening and weekends whilst no engineering was being carried insured our work was not only completed on time but also allowing our team the time it needed to carry out the work to an exceptional standard.

Feedback from the customer: Throughout the project and upon the completion our customer was very satisfied with the teams ability to produce exceptional workmanship even with the challenges of trying to coordinate our painting work in with all the other trades working on the vessel, commenting on completion that “you can’t turn a pigs ear into a silk purse but somehow you guys have to done it.”

Where it is now? The vessel is carrying out its work taking tourist on cruise through the amazing the Milford Sounds!
